A mother duck and her babies are indebted to loan officer Joel Armstrong, who cared enough to rescue the ducklings from a near-catastrophic series of events. Armstrong’s quick thinking and action, the second time he has rescued a duck family, have earned him IDA's coveted Guardian Award.
