Mack ARA Grandfather's Bike Trip to Canada
Hello IDA friends~
I made it!! This 63 year old grandfather.completed my 900 MILE
BICYCLE TRIP from St. Louis, Missouri to Ontario, Canada in the name of
IN DEFENSE OF ANIMALS.. Starting on June 16th I biked from the Lewis & Clark
Bridge in St. Louis across the Mississippi River into Illinois, north through the
state into eastern Wisconsin up to Manitowoc where I took my buck on the
U.S. Badger ferry ship across Lake Michigan into Michigan state where I
continued my ride up through Michigan and on to the Upper Peninsula of
Michigan where I concluded the journey biking over the
International Bridge into CANADA. Trip Over!!
I want you to know I stopped for every animal along the way and gave as much
comfort and friendship to these sweet farmed animals whose days and
lives are sadly destined for human consumption. You can see pictures and
videos of our animal friends on my facebook page
Mack ARA Freeman. IN the meantime I hope you will consider a
donation of at least $9.00 to IDA for my 900 MILE RIDE--one dollar for each
MILE BIKED. FOR THE ANIMALS, RIGHT?
Cheers, Mack ARA
Summer greetings IDA friends and supporters!
First off I'd like to thank once again all of you who have donated to In Defense of Animals based on my 820 mile bicycle trip from St Louis County Missouri to Lake Superior, St. Louis County Minnesota. It was a thrill of my lifetime having the chance to bike to the great North while having the reward of creating an outlet for helping IDA, the premier animal rights organization in the country.
Please support my journey this summer, from St. Louis, Missouri, to Canada to raise money for In Defense of Animals.
My goal this year is to raise $500!
Thanks for whatever you can do for In Defense of Animals.
Sincerely, Mack ARA Freeman
-Day 20: 882 miles; my ride is complete! Thank you to all who have supported my ride for animals from St. Louis all the way to Canada.
-Day 10: 571 miles!! Currently in Cleveland, Ohio, where I met some cow friends! <3
-Day 4: So far, I have traveled 270 miles to Dover, IL. I will continue my journey to Canada once the rain storm passes. Thank you SO much for helping me raise money for animals!
